I am blessed to be at SFR where I am able to bring the teachings of Jesus into the daily curriculum.  Having the Crucifix in the classroom reminds me that I must accept each student as an individual and to treat them with kindness and love.  Students do not learn in the same manner.  It is my responsibility to try to reach all students in the manner in which they are able to succeed.  Students learn best when they are praised for his/her accomplishments.  Each kind word encourages the child to keep trying.  A child's self-esteem is an important part of being successful in school.

I have 25 years experience in the business world and nine years as a teacher.  I received a teaching credential from Dominican College in New York.  Recently, I received a Masters Degree in Inclusive Education from Loyola Marymount University, California.
